By leveraging our unique and enabling R&D capabilities, we are building a pipeline that includes inhalable medicines, nicotine replacement therapies (NRT), and consumer wellness products.



About the role


As an experienced Project Manager, your role will support a large range of customer projects. These will vary both in scale and type. Over the next couple of years, we expect to see a broader diversity of projects and customer base.

You will work with stakeholders from across our business, to create a shared approach, which we will deliver against.

The duties for this role will include:

• Responsible for driving a portion of the project portfolio by the co-ordination of process and systems to ensure robust and balanced planning, decision making, implementation, monitoring and reporting
• Accountable for the performance & results of team(s) and/or broader projects through reputational or process control.
• Responsible for overall project team management or a portfolio of several projects to ensure robust and balanced cross-functional planning, decision making, implementation, monitoring and reporting
• Coordinating and driving development process planning activities including integrated development plans, budget inputs, and go/no go criteria as appropriate.
• Working closely with the relevant management team to facilitate the elaboration, approval, and execution of the global programme strategy, as well as facilitate the decision-making process for their projects.
• Maintaining the overall development plans and enterprise portfolio inputs.
• Implementing development plans by managing project teams, track project timelines and budget, drive team meetings/agendas/minutes including drive and track ‘actions’ and facilitate team goal setting and tracking to ensure adherence to plan and strategy.
• Issuing and presenting reports to senior management on a routine basis.
• Helping to ensure consistent practices throughout all phases of the project life cycle.
• Applies best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing of projects.



What you need


• You’ll be an experienced Project Manager ideally with a scientific background, ideally with the development and launch of Consumer Health products
• You will be comfortable working within a matrix environment, working with multi-disciplined teams.
• You will also have demonstrable experience of working with standard PM tools, software, and methodologies
